At Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), we believe that the total cost of cardiovascular care is too high and the optimal way to identify and remove the avoidable costs in cardiovascular care delivery is by equipping and empowering cardiovascular physicians with new care models and new financial incentives via risk-based contracts. Novocardia, the value-based care division of CVAUSA, is responsible for supporting our partner practices to transform care models in ways which improve care quality and help achieve the triple aim and implement risk-based contracting. We are deeply passionate about improving care quality, and about providing more Americans with access to great, evidence-based chronic disease care. We are also committed to building more sustainable and durable payment models for this care – models which reward clinicians for delivering the right care, in the right place at the right time. Opportunity CVAUSA is seeking a Sr Director of Value Based Care Operations to join our Novocardia Division. This role focuses on managing partnerships in arrangements that include total cost of care, sub-capitation cardiology models, and bundled payment agreements. This is an externally facing role focused on fostering strong relationships with partners, facilitating strategic alignment, and ensuring operational success. Reporting directly to the Division President, the Sr Director of Value Based Care Operations will oversee external engagements, lead Joint Operating Committees, and ensure all contractual obligations and performance metrics are met, delivering exceptional value for both our organization and our partners. This role is responsible for the Value Based Care (VBC) Clinical team and the wrap around VBC clinical staff including the Director of Clinical Services and VBC Market Manager will report directly to the Director of VBC Operations.
