The Senior Director of Teaching and Learning provides leadership in the Division of Instructional Excellence and Student Experience, specifically oversight responsibilities for the Department of Teaching and Learning. Duties include planning and directing the development and implementation of educational services and experiences for all students; developing and implementing curriculum, ensuring horizontal fidelity and vertical alignment; and ensuring instructional excellence throughout the district. This Senior Director will have expertise in curriculum, instruction, assessment, professional development, systems thinking, strategic plan alignment, continuous improvement, adult learning theory, and project management.
