A team that fosters and encourages creativity, resourcefulness, promoting from within, and a work-life balance. #IITFWI Job Purpose: The Senior Director of Supply Chain is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain function, including demand planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. This role ensures the development and execution of supply chain strategies that support business objectives, drive efficiency, optimize costs, and improve service levels across the organization. Summary of Essential Job Duties: Develop and execute strategic supply chain plans to support company growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Lead and mentor supply chain teams across procurement, planning, logistics, and warehouse operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings, process optimization, and service enhancements. Oversee demand planning and inventory strategies to balance availability, cost, and working capital targets. Manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring quality, delivery reliability, and strategic alignment. Collaborate closely with sales, operations, manufacturing, and finance teams to align supply chain plans with company goals. Implement and enhance technology systems and tools (e.g., ERP, WMS, demand planning software) to improve data visibility and decision-making. Monitor KPIs and develop reporting mechanisms to track performance, identify risks, and measure results. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, environmental, and company policies throughout the supply chain. Develop supply chain risk management strategies to mitigate disruptions and increase resilience. Support product launches, sourcing transitions, and operational scale-ups as needed. Requirements Skills/Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to operate both strategically and tactically, managing big-picture planning and day-to-day execution. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated success in cost reduction, process improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives. Strong expertise in supply and demand planning, procurement, logistics, and vendor management. Required Education and Experience: 8–12 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field required. Relevant certifications such as APICS CPIM/CSCP, ISM CPSM, or Six Sigma are a plus.
