Mimecast is seeking a Senior Director of Solutions Marketing reporting to the VP, Product Marketing, who will play a pivotal role in shaping and communicating our unique value proposition as a leader in cybersecurity. This highly visible and strategic role will require you to be innovative and creative in building clear, differentiated platform and ecosystem messaging-emphasizing how Human Risk Management integrates into the broader security infrastructure of enterprises. You will be instrumental in elevating Mimecast's market presence, driving strategic initiatives, and enabling Mimecast's global go-to-market teams.

  • Messaging & Positioning: Develop and deliver compelling, differentiated messaging and positioning for Mimecast's platform, with a focus on Human Risk Management as a critical component of enterprise security.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into benefits for audiences ranging from C-level executives to security practitioners.
  • Enablement: Create and deliver enablement tools, training, and resources to empower sales, partners, and customer success teams.
  • Ensure consistent, effective communication of solution value across all touchpoints.
  • Thought Leadership & Evangelism: Act as a Mimecast spokesperson and subject matter expert at industry events, webinars, and in the media.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives, including blogs, whitepapers, and public speaking engagements to elevate Mimecast's leadership in Human Risk Management and integrated security.
  • Content Generation: Lead the creation of high-impact content including solution briefs, case studies, presentations, and multi-media assets to support the full customer journey.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer Marketing teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Leadership: Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Mimecast's platform and ecosystem.
  • Leverage market insights and customer feedback to continuously refine and enhance Mimecast's solution offerings.
  • 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, spanning product marketing, solutions marketing, or solutions engineering roles.
  • Proven ability to distill technical solutions into clear, audience-specific messaging for stakeholders ranging from C-level executives to technical practitioners.
  • Deep knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, including how multiple market areas intersect (e.g., email security, identity, threat intelligence, cloud security) and the integrations required for enterprise-class protection.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting at customer-focused events, industry conferences, and to internal and external audiences of all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of building and executing innovative marketing programs that drive awareness, demand, and market leadership.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Passion for innovation and a growth mindset, with an eagerness to drive Mimecast's mission forward in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
