About The Position

Built is hiring a strategic and delivery-focused Senior Director of Security & IT to lead enterprise security and information technology enablement. As we transform how lending, financial management, and payments work in construction and real estate, security is central to our mission as we protect our clients, their customers, and Built. This role is responsible for defining and executing a security and information technology strategy that empowers our teams to do their best work through secure, scalable systems. You will join a fast-moving, high-ownership, mission-driven team operating at the intersection of business enablement and enterprise resilience. The ideal candidate is a security-first leader who understands IT operations, can operate effectively at both architectural and execution levels, and thrives in an environment that demands measured risk-taking, rapid decision-making, and hands-on engagement. Success in this role requires pragmatic leadership, strong cross-functional collaboration, and a clear focus on outcomes. This high-impact role reports directly to the CFO, is part of the senior leadership team, and has broad responsibility for security, identity governance, internal tooling, enterprise architecture, IT service delivery, and facilities across our enterprise environment. This includes defining and enforcing security standards, scaling internal enablement through IT systems, and representing Built’s security posture to clients during sales and implementation processes.
