As the SR Director – Countertop Sales , we need someone ready to provide a variety of support such as direct responsibility for a Region of Stone Centers and Stone Distribution Centers, grow sales, and train managers. Primary Objective Develops, manages, and is directly responsible for sales and operations for the Stone Centers of the region. Directs and coordinates the implementation of standard policies, sales initiatives, and procedures across the region. In addition, responsible for leading the Stone Sales Reps, Stone Center Managers, and the regional Dimensional Stone Sales Team. Primary Function and Scope Achieves revenue, budget, and other business objectives for assigned locations. Attracts, retains, develops, and directs the associates in their assigned region. Trains Location Managers and Sales Representatives on selling techniques, presentation skills, product knowledge, and internal procedures. Analyzes and develops effective pricing and price strategies. Develops business relationships with key customers within assigned regions. Defines goals and objectives and communicates them regularly. Measures Manager's and Sales Representatives’ performance against objectives. Communicates clearly and works closely with Directors of OPS to accomplish Operational goals and targets. Works closely inside and outside of the region to maximize market penetration and overall profitability. Collaborates with peers to establish policies, procedures, and pricing focused on delivering profitable growth. Works closely with the Safety Coordinator and Director of OPS to ensure regional locations are focused and proactively enhancing all safety procedures and daily actions within their region. Performs other assigned duties as required to support Corporate Objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive working knowledge of residential/dealer sales.
  • Seven plus years of related sales management experience.
  • Self-starter, strong communication skills, exercise independent judgment, and ability to develop and motivate the sales force.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong Access and Excel skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Practical knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and Sarbanes-Oxley.
