The Senior Director of Rehabilitation (Sr. DOR) provides strategic clinical and operational leadership for all rehabilitation services within the assigned area, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care aligned with organizational standards and goals. They oversee daily operations, performance metrics, and staffing while driving initiatives that enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Serving as a mentor and cultural leader, they nurture teamwork, uphold company values through the Fly Wheel to Success, and foster the growth of Rehabilitation leaders. Additionally, they maintain a strong field presence, providing onsite support, ensuring policy adherence, and cultivating partnerships that advance service excellence and organizational sucess. Nurtures company culture, leading by example, adhering to the company's code of conduct, fostering team work, and achieving results through the Fly Wheel to Success. Spends significant time in the field providing onsite support based on individual and organizational needs, routinely rounding to ensure implementation of established policies and procedures and adherence to first impression standards. Orients, mentors, and develops the growth of Directors of Rehabilitation as assigned by the Vice President of Operations. Mentors and develops rehabilitation managers and interdisciplinary team members to promote leadership growth and clinical excellence. Develops and executes strategic initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes, efficiency, and service quality. Provides clinical and operational leadership for all rehabilitation services within the assigned location. Ensures delivery of high-quality, evidence-based therapy programs that meet patient and organizational goals. Oversees the daily operations of all rehabilitation disciplines, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory standards. Manages site-level performance metrics, including patient outcomes and financial targets. Leads program development and innovation to advance service offerings and patient experience. Partners with Quality and Compliance teams to maintain adherence to accreditation, ethical, and documentation standards. Conducts regular audits and quality reviews to identify opportunities for process and clinical improvement. Collaborates with Human Resources to strengthen recruitment, retention, and professional development efforts. Oversees scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure effective service delivery. Builds strong relationships with facility leadership, patients, families, and external partners. Partners with business development and operational leaders to identify new program opportunities and community partnerships. Leads performance improvement projects to enhance efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction. Represents the rehabilitation department in cross-functional committees and leadership meetings. Provides strategic input into organizational initiatives and company-wide quality programs. Other duties as assigned.
