About The Position

LCMC Health is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Primary Care Clinics to lead strategic and operational excellence across our clinical departments. This leader will partner closely with physicians to strengthen collaboration, support provider development, and expand patient access across the communities we serve. By aligning operational performance with clinical priorities, the Senior Director will help advance a culture of teamwork, accountability, growth, and continuous improvement—ensuring our patients receive exceptional, timely, and compassionate care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years Management in a healthcare setting.
  • Progressive leadership experience within physician services, ambulatory operations, or clinical administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change, build strong physician partnerships, and execute strategic operational plans.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, practice operations, and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive‑level leadership and oversight of day‑to‑day operations across assigned physician and clinical departments, ensuring efficient, high‑quality service delivery.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with physicians and APPs to enhance communication, strengthen alignment, and support clinical and operational growth initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Directors and Managers to drive performance excellence, professional development, and a collaborative team culture.
  • Direct, coordinate, and evaluate clinical nursing practice with a focus on evidence‑based care, care standardization, and operational consistency.
  • Manage administrative and operational functions including budgeting, resource allocation, staffing, provider recruitment/onboarding support, and process improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with physician leaders to improve patient access, enhance care delivery models, and remove operational barriers impacting patient flow or clinic efficiency.
  • Ensure departmental operations align with LCMC Health’s systemwide strategic goals, service‑excellence expectations, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of hospital and system‑level policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.
  • Promote continuous improvement methodologies to elevate patient experience, optimize workflows, and strengthen clinical and operational outcomes.
  • Serve as a liaison between operational leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary partners to maintain open communication and drive coordinated success.
