About The Position

We’re seeking an accomplished Senior Director of Inpatient Services to join our executive leadership team and drive excellence across our nursing and clinical operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the strategic direction, quality, and performance of inpatient services—ensuring the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based care that transforms lives. You’ll serve as a key member of our senior leadership team, shaping organizational strategy, guiding clinical governance, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Postgraduate degree in Nursing, Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing, Healthcare or Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum 4 years of leadership experience in behavioral health nursing, including assessment, planning, and evaluation of psychiatric care.
- Demonstrated success in policy development, compliance oversight, and strategic operations management.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage complex projects, and drive measurable outcomes.
- CPR and CPI certification required.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all inpatient nursing and provider operations.
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide clinical policies, performance standards, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure operational excellence and fiscal responsibility.
- Oversee recruitment, development, and retention of nursing leaders and staff, ensuring a strong, skilled, and motivated workforce.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and other regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and executive team to promote integrated, patient-centered care.
- Cultivate partnerships with external healthcare organizations, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Champion innovation, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement across all service lines.
