About The Position

The Senior Director of Events will lead all NIL-focused event operations for select Blueprint Sports partners across the country. Acting as a leader in events and follow-through, this role is responsible for creating, designing, and executing high-impact donor, fan, and brand experiences aligned with the partner school’s culture and Blueprint’s national strategy. The Director will liaise daily with the Blueprint Sports team on the ground, including but not limited to the Director Fan Engagement & Experiences and Client Service Operations Manager, athletic department leadership, student-athletes, and national/local vendors to ensure flawless planning and execution. Will report to the EVP, Client Partnerships. THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED IN NASHVILLE, TN.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university
  • At least five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in sports, live events, and entertainment
  • Proven track record of quickly developing and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Possess conscientious attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and honesty, and has a reputation as the person who always does the right/fair thing
  • Be proactive and self-motivated by a will to achieve results and win
  • Must possess an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-level results
  • Ability to work nights/weekends/sporting events and travel as needed
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite(s)

  • Demonstrated understanding of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) as it relates to the collegiate athletics space preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Leadership Lead the development of an annual event roadmap, aligning the athletic department's goals, schedules, and donor initiatives.
  • Build and maintain annual event calendars, production timelines, and budgets.
  • Relationship Management Serve as the primary liaison with Athletics staff, MMR partners, and campus facilities teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with coaches, ops staff, compliance, and other key stakeholders to facilitate athlete participation.
  • Represent Blueprint in donor-facing moments where NIL events are being pitched or promoted.
  • Creative Direction Collaborate with Blueprint event and marketing teams to conceptualize original themes and activations for events.
  • Sponsorship & Revenue Integration Manage local teams with support of sponsor activation execution and ensure delivery of all event-related benefits
  • Staff & Resource Oversight Supervise the local Blueprint team and any temporary event staff or interns.
  • Manage national and local vendor relationships including contract negotiation and execution.
  • Compliance & Reporting Ensure all athlete involvement complies with NCAA and school NIL guidelines.
  • Track KPIs and deliver post-event reports on revenue, engagement, and performance.
