Senior Director of Engineering, Quality Platform
About The Position
About the Team: The new Enterprise Platform portfolio delivers foundational technology capabilities that power secure, scalable, and innovative experiences across the organization using best-in-class tooling and standards. In this role, you will lead the quality engineering platform, embedding automated testing and quality practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle. What you will be doing: Define and own the enterprise-wide quality strategy, embedding testing and quality practices throughout the SDLC. Build a quality culture where developers are accountable for code quality. Direct the design and maintenance of test automation frameworks and performance engineering tools. Lead a center of excellence for non-functional testing (load, stress, chaos engineering). Define and implement quality metrics for product health and process effectiveness.
Requirements
- Background as a Software Engineer or SDET, with strong coding and engineering mindset.
- Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Proven success in “shift-left” quality transformations.
- Familiarity with modern testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest-Assured, JMeter).
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or other related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
