Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field required.
At least 8 years of real estate development experience, including 4 years in a management role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Deep understanding of real estate transactions and related processes.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

Oversee and drive results for a medium to large portfolio of multifamily development projects.
Lead the development team and collaborate closely with the design team to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Maintain full accountability for projects from entitlements through construction loan closing.
Act as the primary liaison with city officials, architects, zoning attorneys, and civil engineers.
Collaborate with the Acquisitions Team on financial pro formas with a strong understanding of yield, spread, cap rates, and underwriting principles.
Create and manage timelines and cost schedules for due diligence activities.
Secure consultant proposals aligned with company and lender objectives.
Coordinate entitlement processes and assist legal counsel in resolving title and survey issues.
Assess utility availability, infrastructure costs, and conduct site investigations.
Support the development of comprehensive project budgets.
Coordinate civil and architectural design deliverables.
Represent the company at public hearings and meetings to secure approvals and permits.
Maintain organized project files and actively mentor team members.
