The Implementation Consultant role is a key part of Amtech’s Professional Services team, leading or supporting the implementation of Amtech software for our customers. This role requires in-depth product knowledge and a strong consultative skillset to effectively work with our customers on how to best implement & derive value from our software. Team members must be comfortable working on-site and virtually as part of one or more customer engagements. Throughout the life cycle of our projects, the Implementation Consultant will be responsible for everything from leading requirements workshops, configuring our software, and creating process documentation, to delivering user training, troubleshooting suspected issues, and supporting our customers’ manufacturing sites as they go-live with their Amtech solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience implementing solutions as part of an enterprise application software company.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity leadership experience across enterprise, consulting, or operations roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary cybersecurity teams and large, complex program portfolios with operational and financial accountability.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, capable of engaging senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise in GRC, Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, and Resiliency.
  • Proven success executing multi-year cybersecurity programs and operational governance structures aligned to enterprise strategy.
  • Strong background in regulatory alignment and audit readiness across frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and the NIST CSF.
  • Proven success driving operational efficiency through standardization, tooling, and KPI-based management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated financial leadership, including budget planning, forecasting, and investment modeling for enterprise cybersecurity portfolios.
  • Experience leading cybersecurity delivery in multi-region or globally distributed teams.
  • Proven ability to integrate and mature Security Operations, GRC, and Identity into cohesive, metrics-driven enterprise programs.
  • Proven success driving transformation or organizational redesign across multiple business units or corporate functions.
  • Experience supporting M&A transactions, including cybersecurity due diligence, integration planning, and post-close uplift.
  • Advanced cybersecurity leadership certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or SANS).

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership
  • Lead and scale cybersecurity delivery and operational teams across GRC, Threat Management, Security Operations, and Resiliency. Ensure consistent, high-quality execution across business units and geographies.
  • Cyber Strategy
  • Contribute to the enhancement and evolution of the cybersecurity strategy and translate this cybersecurity strategy into actionable roadmaps, programs, and measurable outcomes aligned to risk and business priorities.
  • Governance and Delivery Management
  • Oversee enterprise-wide cyber program execution including project design, delivery frameworks, budgeting, and progress reporting to senior leadership.
  • Operational and Financial Accountability
  • Manage cybersecurity budgets, staffing models, and multi-year capacity planning. Optimize spend and performance through standardization, automation, and vendor efficiency.
  • Vendor and Partner Management
  • Govern the cybersecurity vendor ecosystem, including MSSP operations, third-party risk management, penetration testing partners, and cloud security providers.
  • Security Operations Excellence
  • Oversee SOC performance, threat detection modernization, vulnerability reduction programs, and incident readiness. Drive continuous improvement through KPI-based management.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Strengthen collaboration across Infrastructure, Product, Architecture, Legal, and Compliance to maintain a unified risk posture and support secure innovation.
  • Regulatory Readiness
  • Lead operational readiness for frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and the NIST CSF, including audit coordination and evidence management.
  • M&A Support
  • Support cyber due diligence, integration planning, and post-close uplift efforts for enterprise acquisitions.
  • Talent and Leadership Development
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of managers and technical leaders. Implement career development, succession planning, and knowledge management programs.
  • Executive and Board Support
  • Develop materials and reporting for executive and board-level cybersecurity updates in partnership with the VP, Infrastructure & Security.
