We are seeking a Senior Communications Director to lead and execute a bold, creative communications strategy that elevates Reproductive Freedom for All’s campaigns, programs, and long-term vision. This role is dually focused on people leadership building, developing, and retaining a high-performing communications team through clear roles, expectations, and accountability, while designing and executing on communications strategies. The Senior Director will lead in the day-to-day team operations, manage key projects, and drive media engagement to strengthen the organization’s visibility, influence, and public image at both national and state levels. This individual will set organization-wide communications priorities, lead internal and external strategies, serve as an on-the-record spokesperson, and ensure all workstreams are effectively scoped, managed, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic communications leader who is organized, resourceful, and adaptable, with a strong track record of leading high-impact campaigns and serving as a national spokesperson. They bring excellent writing skills and a deep understanding of the media landscape, including issues related to reproductive freedom. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively collaborate across teams and locations in a fast-paced environment, while embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion into all aspects of the work. Candidates should be passionate about reproductive freedom and bring at least 10 years of communications experience, including 4+ years of people management.
