MaxLinear is seeking a Director or Senior Director of Business Development/Product Marketing Network Infrastructure and Carrier Products to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on the following: Expand MaxLinear's presence among the top 20 global service providers and cable operators Direct account responsibility for certain US, Canada and LATAM operators – cultivate and expand relationships, expand opportunities, new designs, etc. Learn, communicate and effectively position MaxLinear product differentiations in 5G infrastructure, Wi-Fi, broadband Create and maintain revenue and unit forecasts to support MaxLinear forecast cycles every quarter Collaborate with global sales teams on forecast alignment, RFPs, supply chain etc. Collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to review/contribute to Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs), market analysis, competitive threats and other trends Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the target markets Individual contributor role with potential to evolve to leadership ship role, to drive regional operator relationships focusing on the top global service providers and cable operators Must be able to drive and influence the sales, marketing and other teams to achieve business goals, Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, translating insights into actionable strategies Provide product positioning in new and existing market segments, driving efforts for design wins Develop and provide training and sales tools to the direct sales team and channel partners Develop and implement communication plans for customers, sales, investors, and internal executive presentations
