About The Position

Company Overview Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform. We ignite the passions of global sports fans and maximize the presence and reach for our hundreds of sports partners globally by offering products and services across Fanatics Commerce, Fanatics Collectibles, and Fanatics Betting & Gaming, allowing sports fans to Buy, Collect, and Bet. Through the Fanatics platform, sports fans can buy licensed fan gear, jerseys, lifestyle and streetwear products, headwear, and hardgoods; collect physical and digital trading cards, sports memorabilia, and other digital assets; and bet as the company builds its Sportsbook and iGaming platform. Fanatics has an established database of over 100 million global sports fans; a global partner network with approximately 900 sports properties, including major national and international professional sports leagues, players associations, teams, colleges, college conferences and retail partners, 2,500 athletes and celebrities, and 200 exclusive athletes; and over 2,000 retail locations, including its Lids retail stores. Our more than 22,000 employees are committed to relentlessly enhancing the fan experience and delighting sports fans globally. Achieving our goals requires strong collaboration and partnership between our teams and our internal stakeholders. To best support this, the person who accepts this role is expected to be on site, in office four days per week. To provide our employees with flexibility, we offer a unique benefit where employees at Fanatics' corporate entity can work remotely for up to four weeks per year, which can be taken in daily or weekly increments.

Requirements

  • 8 years of business development leadership experience with a concentration in loyalty and experiential marketing for companies with an array of product offerings.
  • Experience with cobranded credit card partnerships.
  • A successful track record in building strong, multi dimensional partnerships that create value for customers, and ultimately both companies involved.
  • Experience working with internal and external partner teams to drive high impact partnerships.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to process and understand large data sets.
  • Strong intellectual horsepower; superior reasoning and analytical skills, proven track record of ROI-driven decision making.
  • A visionary leader laser-focused on Fanatic's customers and their experience.
  • Intellectually curious, with the ability to make quick and nimble decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial with a 'roll up your sleeves' attitude; comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a loyalty partnership roadmap to support aggressive program growth and retention goals, both domestic and global, over the next 1-3 years, focused on creating strong brand affinity to Fanatics, and value to our customers.
  • Create and execute best in class partnerships to bring to life the value of membership in the Fanatics loyalty program, bringing together our differentiated athlete relationships, sports assets, and our passionate fan base.
  • Build pipeline of prospective partners, develop deep industry relationships, and formalize partnerships with top brands to generate value exchange between companies.
  • Develop and execute strategy to monetize Fanatics' loyalty program, through partnerships including but not limited to financial services companies.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional fashion across multiple, highly complex projects focused on driving the quality of engagement amidst consumers.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $188,750 to $235,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
  • Flexibility to work remotely for up to four weeks per year.
