About The Position

This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving end-to-end life cycle management (LCM) for key biopharmaceutical programs, ensuring that opportunities across clinical, regulatory, commercial, and operational functions are effectively prioritized and executed. The Senior Director will act as the enterprise orchestrator, translating corporate strategy into integrated, actionable plans while guiding cross-functional teams through complex, high-stakes initiatives. This role requires a strategic mindset, executive presence, and the ability to influence decisions without direct authority. The position offers the chance to shape long-term value creation, oversee critical governance forums, and provide data-driven insights to executive leadership in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, MD, PhD) preferred.
  • Extensive experience in program and portfolio management within biopharmaceutical or life sciences organizations.
  • Demonstrated leadership across full product life cycle, including launch and post-approval optimization.
  • Proven ability to operate at the enterprise and executive level, influencing strategy and decisions across multiple functions.
  • Strong track record of managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and collaborative leadership style.
  • Strategic, systems-thinking mindset with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
  • Expertise in risk management, scenario planning, and driving metrics-oriented execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program management for life cycle initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams across Clinical Development, Regulatory, CMC, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Safety, Quality, and Operations.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and monitor life cycle opportunities, risks, and trade-offs aligned with corporate strategy and value creation goals.
  • Drive alignment on objectives, timelines, dependencies, and critical path activities across LCM workstreams.
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional forums, LCM reviews, and governance discussions to enable timely, well-informed decision-making.
  • Develop executive-level materials, dashboards, and decision frameworks synthesizing complex cross-functional inputs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring LCM strategies are integrated and executed to maximize product value.
