Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business-related field and 5 years' experience in Supply Chain Management, Merchandising, or related field OR 8 years' of experience in Supply Chain Management, Merchandising, or related field.
  • 4 years' supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years' experience with Retail Link.
  • 3 years' experience using advanced functionality or word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 6 years' supervisory experience leading a team of 5 or more managerial or salaried associates.
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business-related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies for replenishment and supply chain process improvements.
  • Drive the adoption of process improvement as a best practice.
  • Deliver financial objectives for inventory management by identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing guidance to the merchant team.
  • Establish efficient replenishment operations by providing tools and methods to the team, guiding buying decisions, and ensuring optimal purchase conditions.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels by interpreting forecasts and merchants' strategies, balancing product choice and stock levels with costs.
  • Identify market and supplier issues and assess their impact.
  • Work closely with suppliers, merchants, and other internal stakeholders to address these issues.
  • Develop and communicate business strategies and plans that align with company objectives and customer needs.
  • Lead talent acquisition and development to build a highly skilled and engaged workforce.
  • Support mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning.
