Requirements

  • 12+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, with 8+ years of demonstrated leadership.
  • Typically requires a master’s degree in related discipline or equivalent related experience, may require further advanced degree.
  • Expertise in commercial strategy, deal architecture, strategic messaging, or enterprise sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to shape complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate strategy into compelling narratives.
  • Experience building repeatable frameworks, toolkits, and templates that scale.
  • High cross‑functional EQ and the ability to orchestrate stakeholders across sales, finance, product, and legal.

Responsibilities

  • Deal Governance & Strategy Own and operationalize the enterprise deal framework covering value articulation, pricing logic, partnership constructs, and contracting themes.
  • Provide early strategic partnership on high‑value deals—shaping narrative, deal structure, executive storyline, and commercial strategy.
  • Deal Narrative Leadership Lead the development of unified deal narratives for major pursuits, ensuring clarity, executive‑ready storylines, and consistent message discipline.
  • Convert top‑of‑pyramid insights into scalable templates, toolkits, modules, one‑pagers, talk tracks, and customizable story arcs for the broader sales organization.
  • Ensure narratives reflect the right tone, simplicity, and strategic intent without over‑building.
  • Renewal & New Business Consistency Formulate an integrated value strategy and partnership roadmap that aligns with the OneCencora value proposition and supports the customer’s strategic objectives, serving as a guiding framework for the team throughout the duration of the contract.
  • Standardize renewal and new business messaging, value realization frameworks, and partnership positioning.
  • Cross‑Functional Enablement Partner with Sales, CDS, 340B experts, Market teams, Product, Finance, and Legal to streamline orchestration of high‑value deals.
  • Reduce dependency on VP‑level intervention by codifying best practices and establishing repeatable, high‑quality deal processes.
  • Operational Excellence & Scale Drive adoption of standardized deal assets and frameworks across the organization.
  • Identify bottlenecks in deal development and implement operational improvements to increase velocity and consistency.
  • Build a scalable capability that elevates how the organization positions itself using strategic messaging and story structure.
