About The Position

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth and partner success across a defined industry portfolio within a high-growth, data-driven environment. As Senior Director, Industry Lead, you will lead and develop a team of sales and account professionals while owning strategy, execution, and performance against ambitious growth targets. You will operate at both strategic and hands-on levels, strengthening existing partnerships and opening new opportunities across mid-market and growth-stage clients. The role combines people leadership, commercial execution, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong focus on operational rigor and scalable processes. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to translate long-term business objectives into actionable plans that deliver measurable results. This position offers flexibility to work remotely or from a US-based office.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in new business development and account management within digital media, advertising, or related industries
  • 2+ years of people management experience, with a proven ability to coach and scale high-performing sales and account teams
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales quotas through new client acquisition and account growth
  • Strong understanding of media performance metrics, advertising KPIs, and data-driven decision-making
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel, with solid analytical, forecasting, and organizational skills
  • Ability to translate high-level strategic direction into practical execution plans for direct reports
  • Experience working cross-functionally to solve complex problems and deliver results in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with emerging AI tools that support sales productivity and account growth
  • Strong leadership presence, communication skills, and a values-driven approach to team management

Responsibilities

  • Own industry-level acquisition, retention, and expansion strategies, driving revenue growth and progress toward quota targets
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales and account professionals through structured feedback, performance management, and career development
  • Oversee forecasting, pipeline health, and reporting accuracy, ensuring strong Salesforce hygiene and reliable revenue visibility
  • Build and maintain trusted senior-level partner relationships, positioning the platform as a preferred long-term partner
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, legal, operations, and go-to-market teams to execute deals and deliver partner success
  • Translate executive strategy into clear, actionable goals and account plans for the team, supported by data and performance insights
  • Apply deep understanding of advertising solutions and media performance metrics to connect campaign results to partner business outcomes
  • Champion the adoption of new tools and processes, including AI-enabled workflows, to improve efficiency and sales effectiveness
  • Represent the organization as an industry ambassador, maintaining credibility and visibility in partner meetings and industry forums
