About The Position

Onsemi is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Senior Director of IGBT Technology Development to lead the development and qualification of cutting-edge silicon IGBT technologies for industrial and automotive power conversion applications. This leadership role is critical to driving innovation and commercialization of next-generation power semiconductor devices and modules power solutions.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of power electronics, device physics, and fabrication processes
• Proven leadership and management experience in a technology development environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to drive innovation and commercialization of new technologies
• Strong technical expertise in IGBT devices and power conversion applications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field; advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and qualification of cutting-edge silicon IGBT technologies for industrial and automotive power conversion applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive innovation and commercialization of next-generation power semiconductor devices and modules
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams to ensure successful technology development and qualification
• Develop and execute technology roadmaps to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with Onsemi's quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
