About The Position

The Senior Director Human Resource Business Partner serves as the primary strategic advisor to Intermountain Health's Canyon's (Utah) Central Market and Intermountain Medical Center's leadership teams. This position oversees a team of Human Resource Business Partner Directors who work with multiple business and clinical executives within the region. The Senior Director contributes to developing and implementing strategies to enhance engagement, retention, and operational and business excellence.

Requirements

  • Relevant business experience working with senior leadership at a strategic level.
  • Ability to lead large projects that have enterprise or region impact.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team of HR professionals to achieve their full potential.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach executive leaders, and strong facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and perform with a high degree of autonomy, organization, and adaptability.
  • Demonstrated success in internal consulting or similar trusted advisor role.
  • Leverage relationships and expertise across the HR Centers of Expertise.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.
  • Demonstrated focus on understanding the needs of the organization and supporting organization leaders with a customer focused, internal consultancy, service orientation.
  • Senior HR Certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, etc.).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis, reporting and continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to executive business leaders, providing HR guidance and support aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the organization's vision and objectives, including strategies that support engagement, retention, productivity, leadership, succession planning, and organizational development.
  • Collaborate with executive business leaders to identify and address organizational development needs.
  • Drive the implementation of HR programs that enhance employee engagement and productivity.
  • Oversee the analysis and reporting of HR metrics to inform decision-making and measure the impact of HR initiatives.
  • Influence and support a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging and position Intermountain Health as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Partner with leaders and HR Centers of Expertise in designing and implementing long and short-term workforce planning solutions.
