The position is part of the central Global Learning & Development (L&D) organization which is part of the HR Talent Management COE. Global L&D provides a variety of learning, leadership, and employee development solutions across the company to drive capability, organizational performance, and compliance.

  • Provide leadership oversight for Global Services Learning & Development (GSLD) accounts and portfolio.
  • Oversee creation and implementation of appropriate learning strategy for each Global Services function.
  • Collaborate with Global Services functional leaders to identify strategic needs and understand change agendas.
  • Define strategic roadmap for implementing L&D support structure across Global Services.
  • Allocate resources to deliver learning and change agendas for each function.
  • Represent GSLD as a member of Lilly's enterprise Learning Council.
  • Define the strategy for incorporating data, automation, and AI into GSLD learning solutions.
  • Implement Corporate Initiatives (CIs) ensuring effective design, accessibility, planning, and communication.
  • Manage and drive consistency in key operational processes.
  • Lead improvement efforts related to GLSD data quality and enterprise Quality System optimization initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a high performing GSLD team.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7-10 years' experience as a learning & development professional.
  • 3-5 years' previous direct supervisory experience.
  • Instructional design and curriculum development experience.
  • Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) administration and other learning technologies.
  • Master's degree.
  • Experience working globally.
  • Data analysis and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • AI literacy and experience using generative AI for productivity.
  • Experience managing complex processes/systems.
