The Senior Director (SDHS) serves as a pivotal front-line leader, overseeing all Health Systems (HS) field medical colleagues within their assigned region. This role is primarily focused on closely supporting team members through hiring, coaching, development, performance evaluation, and ongoing management. The SDHS ensures that each colleague executes the aligned goals and objectives of the Regional Health System Team and understands how their contributions connect to the broader organizational mission. In addition, the SDHS is responsible for ensuring that all team activities are fully compliant with Madrigal’s policies and procedures, tactical field plans are effectively implemented, and that insights and needs from the field are identified, escalated, and addressed to optimize both team performance and engagement. An important aspect of this role will be the regular and compliant interface with both internal stakeholders (field medical leadership, market access, HQ medical strategy, clinical operations) and external customers (payer and health system decision makers and others).
