About The Position

Requirements

Demonstrated record of effective engagement or experience in the U.S. Congressional defense appropriations and authorizations committees is required.
Minimum of 15 years of defense-related experience is required in relevant positions such as: House or Senate Member or Leadership offices responsible for military or national security portfolios, professional staff members for defense committees, aerospace and defense companies, defense industries or associations, political organizations, or the Department of War.
Background in military aircraft and/or ground combat systems is desirable.
A bachelor's degree from a recognized institution is mandatory; a postgraduate degree in business, political science, public policy, law, or related fields is desirable.
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential.
