About The Position

The Senior Director for Global Enrollment and Development provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the institution’s global engagement, international enrollment growth, and partnership development. This role works closely with academic leadership, including Deans, Graduate Studies, and Enrollment Management, to design and implement initiatives that expand the university’s global footprint, enhance student pipelines, and foster mission-aligned collaborations—particularly within Jesuit and values-based networks.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in higher education, with a focus on global engagement, enrollment management, or international programs.
  • Demonstrated success in developing international partnerships and increasing global student enrollment.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and cross-cultural environments.
  • Strong understanding of global higher education systems and international recruitment practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Terminal degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience within a Jesuit or mission-driven institution.
  • Established network of international academic and organizational partners.
  • Experience with fundraising or advancement initiatives related to global programs.
  • Proficiency in one or more foreign languages.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global enrollment strategy aligned with institutional goals.
  • Partner with Enrollment Management to identify and expand international student recruitment markets.
  • Build sustainable international student pipelines for undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.
  • Collaborate with Graduate Studies to enhance global graduate enrollment and program visibility.
  • Analyze enrollment trends and market data to inform recruitment strategies and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and lead institution-wide global initiatives that support academic excellence and internationalization.
  • Identify emerging global education trends and recommend innovative programming and partnerships.
  • Facilitate cross-campus collaboration to ensure alignment of global initiatives with academic priorities.
  • Oversee implementation of global engagement projects, including study abroad expansion and transnational education efforts.
  • Lead the development, negotiation, and stewardship of international partnerships with universities, governments, NGOs, and private sector organizations.
  • Strengthen and expand collaborations within Jesuit and mission-aligned global networks.
  • Establish articulation agreements, dual-degree programs, and pathway partnerships to support student mobility.
  • Ensure partnerships are sustainable, measurable, and aligned with institutional mission and strategic priorities.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to Jesuit global education initiatives and networks.
  • Promote mission-driven global engagement rooted in Jesuit values such as social justice, intercultural understanding, and service.
  • Identify opportunities for collaborative programming, research, and student exchange within Jesuit institutions worldwide.
  • Work closely with Enrollment Management to align recruitment strategies with global outreach and branding efforts.
  • Collaborate with Advancement to identify and secure funding opportunities for global initiatives, scholarships, and partnerships.
  • Support donor engagement efforts related to international programs and global expansion.
  • Contribute to marketing and communications strategies that enhance the institution’s global visibility.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for staff supporting global initiatives and partnerships.
  • Develop and manage budgets related to global programs and recruitment activities.
  • Establish metrics and assessment frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of global initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with international education regulations, institutional policies, and accreditation standards.
