About The Position

The Senior Director, GCA AI & Technology serves as an Enterprise leader accountable for the strategy, governance, and execution of GCA’s AI and technology ecosystem. This role ensures that GCA employees are enabled by modern capabilities, shared workflows, and strong data foundations—driving smarter, faster, more consistent work across the organization. The Senior Director sets the vision, oversees platform and capability development, leads change and adoption, and stewards GCA’s AI and technology portfolio in partnership with Johnson & Johnson Technology.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership in tech and AI transformation within complex, matrixed environments.
  • Experience owning tech/AI platforms
  • Experience building and leading team; coaching and developing talent
  • Experience in product management, agile delivery, and platform lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of data storage and governance principles.
  • Proven success driving behavior change and adoption of new technologies.
  • Strong influencing skills, executive presence, and ability to communicate complex concepts simply.
  • Demonstration of high adaptability, learning agility, strategic thinking, and strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving change management
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Communications, Information Technology, or related field).

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set and govern the strategic direction for GCA’s AI and technology ecosystem inclusive of lead development of the digital and AI transformation roadmap aligned to GCA priorities.
  • Own the enterprise portfolio of GCA AI and technology capabilities, tools, platforms, and standards.
  • Ensure alignment with Johnson & Johnson policies, enterprise architecture, and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as GCA’s representative on Johnson & Johnson’s Artificial Intelligence Council.
  • Establish governance, guardrails, decision-making frameworks, and responsible AI use across Communications, WW GA&P and GHE.
  • Manages team of three capability/platform owners responsible for building, evolving, and governing the technology platforms supporting GCA’s core capabilities.
  • Build team, establish Owner roles and establish processes that ensure that Owners are assessing capability needs, defining technology requirements, partnering with J&J Technology to design and implement platforms, driving change management, training, and role-based enablement, and continuously enhancing platforms to meet evolving organizational needs.
  • Drive overall workforce adoption and effective utilization of AI and technology capabilities.
  • Supervise Workforce Enablement Lead talent accountable for leading analytics-driven approaches to understand usage, barriers, and behavioral trends.
  • Oversee change management, training, communications, and role-based enablement.
  • Build team, establish Owner roles and establish processes that ensure that Owners are assessing capability needs, defining technology requirements, partnering with J&J Technology to design and implement platforms, driving change management, training, and role-based enablement, and continuously enhancing platforms to meet evolving organizational needs.
  • Partner with GCA leaders and J&J Technology to embed AI and technology into daily work.
  • Lead matrixed teams to execute platform delivery, integrations, and capability launches.
  • Oversee execution of the tech and AI roadmap, anticipating risks and enabling delivery momentum.
  • Oversee GCA’s data and content foundations, including the enterprise content library and unified data platform and evolution of current data hub.
  • Ensure strong metadata, taxonomy, governance, and library science discipline.
