About The Position

CORPAY is currently looking to hire a Senior Director within our Financial Planning and Analysis division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is located in Brentwood, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of company financials and metrics. Reporting to the Vice President, FP&A this role will serve as a trusted financial advisor and business partner to leaders in the organization by providing insight and driving financial modeling, budgeting, and resource planning across Corpay. This role will be a key contributor to financial reporting and analysis that supports the needs of the business. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 11+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis or financial analysis, investment banking or capital markets functions in a related business environment.
  • Revenue forecasting and modeling experience required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growing, rapidly changing environment, preferably with a payments or fintech company.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills with functions, Power Query, tables, data connections, pivot tables, and the preparation of summary analytics with charts, recommendations, and variance reporting.
  • Strong Power Point building skills, the ability to communicate complex subject matter succinctly with visual appeal.
  • Material experience with financial tools including Lawson, MS Dynamics 365, IBM Planning and Cloud Analytics / TM1, Planful, and financial dashboards (e.g. Power BI).
  • Experience managing direct reports and leading cross functional projects. Project management experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • This role will be the subject matter expert and assigned ownership of specific product(s) within the Corpay Payables division. It will provide financial oversight and insight into the business to keep both financial leadership and business partners informed on the state of the business and provide strategic advice about new financial and business opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining detailed corporate financial models integrated with data sources for forecasting, reporting, and ad-hoc requests for strategic decision making with a focus on revenue, key revenue metrics, and pipeline.
  • Developing deep and supportive partnerships within the business to stay abreast of business challenges and opportunities, while providing appropriate financial commentary and controls of Corpay Payables products.
  • Supporting financial and business leadership teams to better understand the actual and proforma state of the business and assist leadership in proactively leading projects and teams as the need arises.
  • Financial reporting to executive management, parent company (Corpay), and other subsidiary companies in the Corporate Payments division for GAAP requirements, performance management, and decision support.
  • Supporting annual budgeting cycle, working with executive and senior leadership teams to provide recommendations based on thorough analysis. Support Company quarterly and monthly forecasting deliverables and performance management.
  • Coordinating with department leaders to support business needs and initiative execution. Provide regular KPI performance management reports for departments and projects with variance explanations to annual plan, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Managing monthly process for financial close, forecasting revenue and associated costs and other initiatives including intra month reporting, period end accounting support, and reporting of variances for performance management.
  • Working with other members of the FP&A and Accounting teams to complete period end reporting and close deliverables while working within a tight close schedule.
  • Assisting in creating regular or scheduled reports for a variety of audiences on performance, forecast and budget. Enhance reporting and modeling from discrete spreadsheets to consolidated financial tools and assist with integrating and consolidating LOB financials.
  • Working with the Data Analytics team to enhance financial and transactional data sources with attributes needed for analysis and reporting. Leverage the data sources for models, compelling charts, integrated planning tools for modeling and consolidation, and business intelligence tools for visualization of results and forecasting.
  • Assisting with implementation and testing of new tools and ERP system, revenue and pipeline modeling, business intelligence, integrated planning, and workflow automation.
  • Managing individual and team assignments, driving to best in class reporting, analysis, and execution. At times, own execution and delivery of intra-company, cross-functional and cross-entity processes, and projects.
  • Developing direct and indirect (where relevant) reports to assist in achieving the goals of both the business and employees.
