About The Position

The Senior Director for Enterprise Applications will engage with various business functions to understand their needs and translate them into actionable projects. The successful candidate will manage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle or SAP, ensuring their optimal performance and integration with other business systems. Additionally, the director will lead initiatives in AI, data quality, Business Intelligence (BI), and automation to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making processes. The position requires overseeing the successful delivery of projects by coordinating with globally distributed teams in a matrixed organization, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices in all enterprise application projects. Emphasis will be placed on measurable improvements in project outcomes, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI).

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing ERP systems like Oracle or SAP.
• Strong understanding of AI, data quality, BI, and automation technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage globally distributed teams in a matrixed organization.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in enterprise applications and project management.
• Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn the Fortive Business System.
