The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) invests in a network of community-based organizations and programs to alleviate the effects of poverty and to provide opportunities for New Yorkers and communities to flourish. The Senior Director of Contract Development will provide executive leadership and oversight of DYCD’s contract development functions within the Bureau of Budget and Finance. Reporting to the Assistant Commissioner of Financial Strategy and Operations, the Senior Director will manage the end-to-end contract development process to ensure timely, compliant, and effective execution of contracts with community-based providers. The Senior Director will also oversee contract development, staff management, data analysis, and system reconciliation to promote accuracy, efficiency, and accountability across the unit. The role requires strategic leadership, strong knowledge of contracting policies and procedures, and the ability to collaborate across program, legal, fiscal, and technology units to streamline operations and strengthen organizational performance.
