You will be the Senior Director of Finance for the Global Planning, Sourcing and Logistics team (GPS&L) How you’ll make an impact: Leadership: Lead a Global team based in California, Switzerland, Singapore and Costa Rica Business Partnership: Serve as a key strategic partner to the SVP of GPS&L and member of the GPS&L leadership team Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting: Ownership of annual operating plan, strategic plan financials and forecasting with a focus on continuous improvements to meet changing business needs. Communication and Presentation: Preparation and ownership of the Executive Leadership Team reviews and presentations Strategy/KOD Execution: Partner with Business Leaders to define and drive KOD achievement and strategy execution. Own Value Improvement Projects business case and value realization tracking and reporting for internal dashboard Month-End Close and Reporting: Manage month-end close and guide the team to ensure accurate, timely financial reports in line with Edwards’ policies. Inventory Excess and Obsolescence (E&O) Management: Establish E&O management strategy, governance and reporting of global inventory across manufacturing plants, distribution centers and customer consignment locations Process Improvement: Drive financial process efficiency and simplification

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance with previous work related experience and skill levels exceeding the requirements of the Senior Manager or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria
  • Global Supply Chain Finance or Cost Accounting background
  • MBA, CPA or CMA
  • Global experience
  • Ability to provide leadership and talent development
  • Proven track record of working matrix environment
  • Superior business partner with ability to interpret results and provide insights
  • Excellent presentation, communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive with an aptitude to optimize processes and influence change
