About The Position

The Senior Director, Enterprise Strategy Execution & Integration is the Chief of Staff’s principal partner for strengthening how IEEE works across a highly matrixed, federated organization. This role exists to ensure that enterprise strategy, Board and presidential direction, and cross-cutting priorities are executed in a coordinated, intersectional, and disciplined manner, rather than within isolated silos. A core focus of this role is improving IEEE’s ability to operate effectively across organizational units, committees, and leadership domains, aligning people, priorities, and timing so that enterprise initiatives advance with clarity and momentum. The Senior Director plays a critical role in enabling the IEEE President to function as a more externally facing, impact-oriented representative of the organization, supported by coherent internal execution, consistent messaging, and reliable follow-through. Operating through influence rather than direct authority, this role strengthens enterprise execution, supports brand coherence, and increases IEEE’s credibility with external partners by ensuring that what IEEE signals externally is backed by aligned internal action. Core Purpose: To ensure that IEEE’s enterprise strategy, presidential leadership priorities, and innovation investments are executed coherently, aligned across the organization, and sustained through delivery.
