About The Position
The Senior Director Enterprise Applications is a pivotal role responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and management of the enterprise applications portfolio at Tolmar. This position encompasses the overall responsibility for the planning, architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of new applications, enhancements, and upgrades of commercial, technical, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software applications. The Senior Director will oversee both internal and vendor-led teams, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals, budgets, and timelines. This role requires a collaborative approach with various business units to deliver effective technical solutions that drive the company’s growth and success. In addition to managing the enterprise applications portfolio, the Senior Director will develop the IT department's application strategy, working closely with senior IT leadership and other executives to ensure alignment with business objectives. This includes fostering positive relationships with management across all functions and actively seeking their input in the planning process. The Senior Director will also focus on enhancing the organization’s digital maturity, overseeing the development and management of applications that engage and equip employees for modern work environments. Responsibilities include developing strategic roadmaps, managing application deployment and support, encouraging application adoption, and improving employees' digital experiences. This leadership position demands a blend of business acumen, technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong management skills. The Senior Director will be responsible for optimizing costs, ensuring adherence to security protocols, and utilizing analytics to monitor and report on application performance. The role also involves leading a high-performance team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and ensuring operational excellence in application management.
