THE ROLE Zeta Global is seeking a strategic, client-facing Senior Director to join our ZX Data Science & Analytics team. This role is ideal for a leader who excels at transforming complex data into compelling narratives that influence decisions and drive business outcomes . You will serve as a trusted analytics partner to clients, using storytelling to make insights actionable and impactful. You should have a strong foundation in marketing measurement, advanced analytics, and optimization strategies, combined with the ability to craft stories that connect data to business priorities . This position reports to the VP of Data Science & Analytics.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to communicate complex analytics through compelling stories that influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong client-facing experience with exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or related fields.
  • 5+ years in analytics leadership roles, ideally with team management experience.
  • Expertise in marketing measurement, optimization, and consumer behavior analysis.
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, Tableau, and experience with ML/AI models.
  • Ability to design impactful visualizations and presentations that highlight the business value of analytics.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across diverse teams.

  • Experience in Retail, Financial Services, Telecom, or Travel verticals is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with Storytelling: Translate advanced analytics into clear, persuasive narratives that resonate with business audiences and inspire action.
  • Shape Client Strategy: Develop and execute analytics strategies that align with client goals, using insights to guide acquisition, retention, and lifetime value initiatives.
  • Drive Measurement Excellence: Champion best-in-class methodologies, such as Test/Holdout-based incrementality measurement, and articulate their value over traditional approaches.
  • Influence Through Visualization: Create dashboards, reports, and presentations that not only inform but tell a story—connecting insights to outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of US-based analysts, including hiring decisions, coaching and development, onboarding, recognition, performance management and team productivity.
  • Scale Impact: Partner with offshore teams to automate and standardize repeatable analyses for efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Sales, Account Management, and Operations to embed storytelling into client deliverables and internal frameworks.
  • Innovate with AI: Support the development and deployment of predictive and adaptive ML models, ensuring insights are communicated in a way that drives adoption and impact.
