About The Position
Verizon's Communications team is looking for a senior leader with deep expertise in corporate social responsibility and public affairs to join its high-impact team. This role will oversee Legal and Responsible Business communications and lead a team focused on Verizon's commitment to drive economic, environmental, and social advancement. You will serve as the Communications Business Partner to the Chief Legal Officer and Chief Responsible Business Officer and play a critical role in maximizing the scale, impact, and voice of these leaders across internal and external communications. The ideal candidate will have effective writing and communication skills and the capacity to engage with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced setting. While this is a senior position in the team, you will be required to take the pen, not just manage the work. Experience working in a global, matrixed organization, as well as experience in executive communications, is considered an asset.
