You’ll join Nike’s North America Communications team—an organization built on sharp storytelling, cultural fluency, and powerful relationships. This role reports to the VP, NA Communications and leads a three‑person media relations team in Los Angeles. You’ll partner closely with Global and Geo Brand Communications, Geo Consumer Media teams across NYC, London & Shanghai, Sports Marketing, Global Corporate Media Relations and key external creators, influencers, agencies, and media. Nike is looking for a bold, seasoned and dynamic leader as comfortable shaping ideas and moments as they are managing relationships. Someone who knows how to design cultural gravity, not just respond to it. This role sits at the intersection of sport x culture x creativity, with media relations as a powerful lever, rather than the sole definition of success. This is a leader with deep LA credibility—someone who understands how culture travels, how influence works, and how to turn insight into impact.
