This position is responsible for leading the Clean Air and Powertrain commercial planning and analytics around commercial performance, as well as assessing the impact from geopolitical events, customer/OEM performance, and more to inform both organic and inorganic strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial analytics and financial analysis, along with a strategic mindset to help drive the company's long-term commercial excellence. The position may be based in Northville, Michigan and reports directly to the Vice President, Commercial Finance CAPT of the company.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to analyze and optimize Clean Air and Powertrain's commercial performance, providing analysis backed views of win rate, market share, and competitive performance
  • Conduct comprehensive commercial modeling, scenario analysis, and forecasting to guide strategic decision-making around organic growth, inorganic investments (e.g., M&A activity)
  • Coordinate and stand up a process to actively manage commercial performance the business and provide advance knowledge of factors affecting volume/revenue (e.g., geopolitical shifts)
  • Work collaboratively with other Commercial Finance team members across the group and company.
  • Develop strategies to manage and maintain commercial and volume levels, ensuring that the company can meet its operational and financial obligations while leveraging plant capacity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate commercial planning with the broader financial strategy
  • Prepare regular reports for the executive leadership around commercial excellence performance and provide insights and recommendations based on commercial analysis to support decision-making
  • Assist with the development and presentation of the company's commercial strategy and performance
  • Mentor and develop commercial and finance team members to build technical expertise and leadership capabilities
  • A Bachelor's Degree in finance or other related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in management consulting within a strategy environment and/or commercial or sales experience within automotive or industrial sectors; commercial automotive experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of performance management, financial modeling, and analytics towards strategic decision making; commercial/sales experience a plus
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with senior executives, investors, and external partners
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
