About The Position

At Eisai, satisfying unmet medical needs and increasing the benefits healthcare provides to patients, their families, and caregivers is Eisai’s human health care (hhc) mission. We’re a growing pharmaceutical company that is breaking through in neurology and oncology, with a strong emphasis on research and development. Our history includes the development of many innovative medicines, notably the discovery of the world's most widely-used treatment for Alzheimer’s disease. As we continue to expand, we are seeking highly-motivated individuals who want to work in a fast-paced environment and make a difference. If this is your profile, we want to hear from you. This role is a dual position that combines business development leadership with full profit and loss responsibility for Eisai’s Established Products portfolio in the Americas. On the Business Development side, the Senior Director leads and executes select strategic and transactional initiatives, including licensing, acquisitions, divestitures, and other external partnerships. The role works closely with commercial and development teams to identify and advance opportunities that strengthen Eisai’s current business and expand its future product and pipeline portfolio. On the Established Products side, the Senior Director is responsible for the overall management and optimization of Eisai’s mature brands, with direct P&L accountability for a portfolio ranging from $45M to $400M in annual revenue. This includes setting strategy, managing performance, and ensuring the portfolio continues to deliver sustainable value in support of Eisai’s financial targets. Across both responsibilities, the position plays a critical role in supporting Eisai’s Human Health Care (hhc) mission by balancing near‑term revenue generation with long‑term strategic growth, while ensuring alignment with the company’s current objectives and future direction.
