About The Position

We are seeking a strategic Senior Director, Business Development & Capture, to
drive new business development, specifically targeting new accounts and sectors
within the DoD (experience with Army clients is a plus). The ideal candidate
will possess a bias toward action and a strong background in identifying,
qualifying, and capturing opportunities, coupled with a capability to explain
how technological products and solutions can address potential customer’s needs.
In addition, this individual will manage Alpha Omega’s Mentor Protégé and Joint
Venture relationships. The primary goal is to foster business development,
strengthen supply chains, and win federal contracts set aside for small
businesses.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in full lifecycle business development, with a proven track record of success in identifying, qualifying, and capturing new business opportunities within the DOD sector (Army experience preferred).
• Ability to understand technology products and solutions and skillfully explain their application in addressing customer challenges and driving business growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative growth strategies in emerging markets.
• Experience managing Mentor Protégé Joint Venture relationships
