Wpromote is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Accounting (Contract) to provide leadership and continuity during a maternity leave. This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for overseeing key accounting operations across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable in a fast-paced advertising agency environment. This leader will step in immediately to manage critical month-end close activities, oversee a small but mighty team, ensure accuracy across media and pass-through billing, and act as a steady escalation point for internal stakeholders and external vendors. The ideal candidate brings deep agency accounting experience, fluency in NetSuite and Mediaocean, and the confidence to operate independently while partnering closely with senior leadership. This role will report directly to the SVP, Controller and is expected to run 6â9 months to start, with potential extension up to 12 months based on business needs.
