As a Senior DSP Systems Engineer for SIS Core Engineering, youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and modeling algorithms, verifying their implementations, and analyzing their performance on a range of systems. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to create and manage various GDMSand client technologies. Senior DSP Systems Engineers analyze, design, develop, and test DSP algorithms implemented in hardware and software for Space-based systems. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Agile experience preferred.
  • Extensive experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), knowledge of MATLAB (or Python) for DSP using the related tool boxes
  • Creative thinker motivated to apply technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to provide technical leadership and position others for success
  • Strong presentation and communications skills with experience in the art of negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
