About The Position

The Senior Digital Program Manager will lead high-impact digital programs and initiatives focused primarily on the Atrial Fibrillation (AF) Solutions business. This is a key role that blends strategic thinking, program management best practices, and cross-functional leadership to drive successful delivery of innovative digital programs that align with Boston Scientific’s business objectives. In this role, you will serve as the central orchestrator for large-scale digital programs—optimizing planning, resource management, stakeholder engagement, and performance tracking. This position demands a strong commercial mindset, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and a collaborative approach to influence and align diverse teams in a highly matrixed environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in project management, including at least 3 years in program or portfolio management
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial environments (e.g., marketing or sales)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the medical device industry
  • Strong executive presence and ability to present and communicate effectively at all organizational levels
  • Proven ability to manage complex digital or software projects from initiation through implementation
  • Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen to manage programs strategically
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate with limited direction in dynamic environments
  • Skilled at gathering input from multiple stakeholders and resolving conflicting priorities across functions

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Program Manager for major digital initiatives, managing cost, schedule, ROI, and performance
  • Establish and maintain program governance, including scope, roles, risk management, and communication alignment
  • Lead large cross-functional teams and collaborate with functional managers to ensure alignment on priorities and resource needs
  • Build strong partnerships with workstream leads to understand requirements, mitigate concerns, and ensure program success
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to promote cross-functional alignment, problem-solving, and knowledge sharing
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing best practices and innovations
  • Manage vendors and service providers to define project scope and performance expectations
  • Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement measures to prevent or reduce issues
  • Estimate resource needs, define milestones, and guide teams in decision-making to stay on track with program goals
  • Monitor program performance using key metrics, analyze trends, and communicate insights through reports and presentations
  • Oversee program budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track financial performance
  • Act as a strategic partner by providing insights and recommendations for digital products and initiatives
