The Senior Digital Learning Experience Designer partners with subject-matter experts (SMEs), business partners, and clinical and operational leaders across the organization to design, produce, and deliver scalable, engaging, and innovative learning experiences that align with strategic priorities, accelerate workforce upskilling, and drive performance improvement. This role will focus on high-impact digital learning resources, including short-form video-based content, microlearning, interactive e-learning, and in-the-flow-of-work resources to meet workforce needs. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience creating digital assets, producing short-form learning content (micro-learning, explainer videos, interactive modules, etc.), translating SME input into clear scripts, visuals and concise instructional formats
  • Proficiency with modern learning technologies, including LXPs, LMS platforms, rapid-authoring tools, video/audio editing platforms, and micro-learning platforms
  • Skilled at producing engaging, workflow-integrated learning experiences, including gamified and just-in-time learning assets aligned to real job tasks
  • Working knowledge of learning science principles relevant to micro-learning, short-form content, scenario-based learning, and behavior change for adult learners
  • Ability to simplify complex operational or clinical content into clear, visual, and engaging learning assets, including writing concise scripts and designing clear visual metaphors
  • Experience using generative AI tools to accelerate content creation, develop scripts, edit video/audio, brainstorm concepts, and personalize learning
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to scope, sequence, prioritize, and deliver complex programs
  • Understanding of how to integrate digital assets into LMS/LXP, intranet, or workflow tools
  • Excellent communication and strong consultation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences and work cross-functionally with SMEs, physicians, operational leaders, and technical teams
  • Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and ability to maintain brand alignment, quality standards, and compliance standards
  • Collaborative, flexible, and comfortable iterating rapidly

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Digital Media, Learning Technology, Instructional Design, Film/Video Production or related field
  • 5+ years of experience, including the experience listed above, in multimedia design, digital learning production, or content creation within a corporate environment.
  • Experience producing workflow-integrated, just-in-time learning assets, gamified learning elements (e.g., decision paths, challenges, scoring badges), and managing digital content across LMS or LXP platforms, including coordination with vendors or production partners
  • Certification in video production, motion graphics, animation or e-learning tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia, etc)

Responsibilities

  • Designs end-to-end learning experiences using human-centered design, adult learning principles, and evidence-based instructional strategies.
  • Serves as a strategic learning consultant, partnering with business, clinical, and HR stakeholders to clarify performance problems, desired behaviors, and business outcomes before recommending learning or non-learning solutions.
  • Designs, produces, and delivers short-form, video-based, and microlearning experiences aligned to organizational strategy, workforce upskilling priorities, and real job tasks for delivery in the flow of work.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts, clinical and administrative leaders to create content while ensuring instructional integrity, consistency, and learner-centered design.
  • Leads iterative design cycles, incorporating feedback from stakeholders, pilot learners, and data insights.
  • Translates complex content into clear, engaging short form learning assets, including videos, microlearning modules, job aids, and performance support tools.
  • Evaluates learning effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative methods, including learner feedback, knowledge checks, behavior indicators, and business or performance metrics.
  • Manages multiple projects and digital content across LMS or LXP platforms, balancing scope, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develops and applies new training media, ensures learning quality, accessibility, and alignment to organizational standards, and occasionally supports facilitation of virtual and live instructor-led classes.
