About The Position
The Senior Digital Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the flow of creative assets from various postproduction sources, including photo studios, video producers, and art directors, to their final publication across multiple channels such as catalogs, web feeds, and third-party marketplace vendors. This position is centered around ensuring that high-resolution assets are efficiently ingested into the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, validating and enriching metadata, and coordinating outsourced retouching processes. The specialist will also be responsible for formatting assets for digital channels and supplying third-party vendors with the necessary creative assets from Lands' End. In this advanced role, the Senior Digital Imaging Specialist is expected to promote process efficiency through continuous improvement methodologies. They will provide key support in driving an efficient and effective image management process under the guidance of the DAM and Digital Imaging Managers, as well as other leaders within Creative Operations. The specialist will support the image processing from raw output through to completion, ensuring that all creative and marketing requirements are met. The role requires collaboration with internal and external business partners to establish a clear path for meeting key image planning, processing, and output expectations. The specialist will evaluate and coordinate retouching based on Lands' End quality and brand standards, providing marked-up files and clear direction to third-party photo retouching vendors. Additionally, the specialist will manage and store assets using data and analytical procedures, ensuring adherence to workflow processes and maintaining high-quality results.
