About The Position

The Hatcher Group is seeking a skilled Digital Data Analyst with 10+ years of experience. In this role, you will architect analytics setups, taxonomies, and configurations, conduct in-depth analyses, and provide actionable insights to refine operations and enhance the digital experiences for the Military OneSource program. The ideal candidate will contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team with a passion for accurate and compelling data analysis. You will work closely with developers, content strategists, and outreach specialists to ensure seamless integration of analytics tools, enabling robust measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuous optimization of digital assets. Our flexible-first work culture empowers you to deliver your best work wherever you are. While remote work is a regular part of our operations, candidates within commuting distance of our Bethesda, MD office are strongly preferred to support weekly in-person collaboration and team building.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Active Secret (preferred) or Public Trust clearance, or the ability to obtain such clearance.
  • Expertise in data analysis tools and marketing platforms (e.g., advanced Excel, SQL, GA4, Adobe Analytics or Customer Journey Analytics, or similar).
  • Expertise in tag management solutions, including the development and maintenance of data layers and tagging specifications. Experience with Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection (Adobe Launch) tags is preferred.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar) and cloud/database platforms (Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead analytics and reporting from end-to-end and can communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Effective observational, listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take direction, work efficiently with a team, and adhere to tight deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, and Monday.com)
  • Must be a US Citizen and fluent English speaker.

  • Experience with Adobe Analysis Workspace preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and maintaining analytics setups, taxonomies, and configurations for the program’s restricted web environments and integrated systems.
  • Implementing, configuring, and maintaining analytics solutions to gather and interpret data, providing valuable insights into user behavior, content performance, and overall digital experiences.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to guarantee analytics tools are seamlessly integrated and digital KPIs are effectively measured.
  • Defining and implementing tracking requirements, analyzing data trends, and generating routine and ad-hoc reports to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Driving continuous improvement by leveraging analytics to identify opportunities for operational refinement and enhanced user experience.
  • Supporting and advocating for data privacy and security best practices throughout the analytics lifecycle.
