About The Position

As a Senior Diesel Mechanic at WM, you will be part of a team that prioritizes employee well-being and career progression. You will work in a repair and maintenance shop at our Trenton, NJ hauling site, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, starting at 3 PM. Requirements

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with diesel and CNG trucks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles.
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.
