About The Position

As a DevSecOps Engineer you will be responsible for implementing and managing secure, scalable, and automated software delivery solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. You will integrate development, security, and operations processes, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the application lifecycle. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy systems that meet mission requirements and maintain strong performance and security standards.
This role is contingent on contract award.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or related engineering roles.
• 10+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI) and pipeline automation.
• 10+ years of experience with configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid environments.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash, Go, PowerShell).
• Experience identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities within infrastructure and application delivery pipelines.
• Familiarity with security best practices and tools (e.g., OWASP, Nessus, Splunk).
• Experience deploying, configuring, and managing virtualized environments using Proxmox, including integration with automation and orchestration tools for secure, scalable infrastructure management

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation of secure CI/CD pipelines
• Design hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure using IaC/CaC
• Integrate security scanning, compliance, and monitoring into pipelines
• Mentor DevSecOps and platform engineers
• Support Agile ceremonies and technical planning
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, and runbooks
