About The Position

The Senior DevOps Engineer will leverage expertise in Azure DevOps and Jira Cloud expertise to streamline FHN Financial's development pipeline, drive infrastructure automation, and enhance cross-team collaboration.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, repos, and artifacts as well as related ADO automation processes (webhooks, service connections, etc.)
• 3-5 years of experience with Jira Cloud administration and workflow configuration
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools and cloud environments
• Proficiency in scripting and or coding languages (PowerShell, C#)
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture principles
• Experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting applications on Windows Servers especially in relation to web applications and IIS
• Experience implementing monitoring and alerting solutions

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Azure cloud services and service management (Entra ID, Azure Monitor) or similar cloud solutions
• Experience with Atlassian suite beyond Jira (Confluence)
• Experience with containerization technologies
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Experience with application performance monitoring tools
• Knowledge of database administration and optimization

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, migrate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with development teams to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Provide assessment / recommendations on CI/CD best practices and help establish new patterns as needed
• Configure and manage Jira Cloud workflows, dashboards, and integrations
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of production environments
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes and systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
• Stay abreast of trends related to cloud services and DevOps tools, platforms, and procedures
