About The Position

The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for the operational stability, performance, and reliability of global IVR systems. This role focuses on day-to-day operations, monitoring, deployments, and configuration support across both cloud and on-premises environments. The position plays a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted customer access to IVR services and rapid response to operational issues. The role works closely with IVR Engineers, Application Architects, QA, and external partners to support deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve system stability. It requires strong technical fundamentals across infrastructure, networking, and voice systems, combined with an operations mindset.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting production systems in a DevOps or operations role
  • Strong working knowledge of cloud services (AWS)
  • Strong experience with Unix/Linux environments
  • Hands-on Genesys experience
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot Genesys IVR and SIP-related issues
  • Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and practices
  • Ability to run network analysis tools such as Wireshark
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Apache Tomcat and HTTP Server
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk
  • Experience with Genesys configuration and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of SIP and call center systems operations
  • Prior experience supporting IVR or voice platforms

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of global IVR platforms
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
  • Respond to incidents and operational issues in a timely manner
  • Assist with deployments, configurations, and release activities
  • Support IVR systems deployed across AWS and on-premises environments
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, QA, and partners during releases and incidents
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and voice-related issues
  • Assist in debugging IVR, Genesys, SIP, and call flow–related problems
  • Analyze logs and metrics to identify root causes and improvement opportunities
  • Participate in on-call, evening, or weekend support as required
