About The Position
We’re offering a unique opportunity to join Launch Legends (and Autheo) as a part-time Equity Cofounder. Founded nearly four years ago, Launch Legends is at the forefront of bridging Web3 blockchain technology with the next evolution of Web2 integration—bringing businesses on-chain through enterprise-grade solutions, DePIN innovations, and decentralized financial infrastructure. Our flagship project, Autheo, is an AI enabled Layer-Zero OS with an integrated Layer-1 blockchain and complete decentralized infrastructure thast includes decentralized compute, storage, identity, and service marketplaces, as well as a Full-stack development enveronment (DevHub)—engineered for scalable enterprise adoption, developer innovation, and real-world blockchain integration. Autheo is building a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) delivering storage, compute, message queues, and databases on native blockchain infrastructure with automated CI/CD, ISO 27001/SOC 2/HITRUST/HIPAA compliance, and global scalability. As a part-time Senior DevOps Engineer in an equity-based cofounder role, you’ll design, deploy, and scale DePIN infrastructure, integrate CI/CD pipelines, and automate management for Layer 1/2 solutions, dApps, DeFi, and DePIN products. This role is critical to operationalizing decentralized cloud services with 80-90% cost savings. Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years in DevOps for decentralized/high-throughput systems.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform/Ansible, CI/CD pipelines (Truffle/Hardhat).
- Proficiency in Prometheus/Grafana/ELK, compliance (ISO 27001/SOC 2/HITRUST/HIPAA).
- Precision in automation and performance optimization.
- Strong technical communication and cross-team collaboration.
- Passion for scalable DePIN ecosystems.
Nice To Haves
- Background in DeFi/DePIN ecosystems and compliance challenges.
- Experience with open-source DevOps tools or multi-cloud setups.
- Contributions to IaC standards or patents in decentralized ops.
Responsibilities
- DePIN Infrastructure
- Deploy and maintain S3-like storage, EC2-like compute, message queues, and databases on blockchain.
- Configure blockchain nodes (consensus, validator, non-consensus) to support DePIN services.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible for decentralized environments.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of dApps, smart contracts, and DePIN services, integrating with blockchain-specific tools (e.g., Truffle, Hardhat).
- Ensure pipelines support compliance requirements (e.g., audit logging, access controls) for ISO 27001, SOC 2, HITRUST, and HIPAA.
- Automation & Orchestration
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and monitoring for decentralized compute, storage, and messaging services.
- Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools, optimized for blockchain node operations and DePIN services.
- Develop scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitoring & Performance
- Implement observability solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) for real-time monitoring of DePIN infrastructure performance, availability, and security.
- Ensure decentralized services meet SLAs with automated alerts and optimization.
- Collaboration & Innovation
- Collaborate with the Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps CoE to support blockchain Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions, dApps, DeFi, and DePIN products.
- Lead reviews for scalability and reliability.
- Mentor teams and contribute to open-source DePIN components.
